Note you won't be able to login until you have set up agents in the Acarda Messenger Setup.exe program. v4.1.1 Quick Instructions ------------------------------------ Acarda Messenger now has three editions. There is now an Enterprise edition which allows you to use a new “Power Dialer” type of campaign. Enter the registration keys for the enterprise edition if you have not yet done so. Here are a few steps to get you going with the Power Dialer 1. Go into Campaign Setup. You will notice in the Type drop down list you now have the ‘Power Dialer’ option. Select that for the appropriate campaign. You also have a ‘Concentration’ setting for each campaign. This setting determines how many engines will be started for each available agent. A 1:1 concentration means just one engine will start dialing for each idle agent. A 2:1 concentration means two engines will start dialing for each idle agent. You can select ‘Unlimited’ if you want all the available engines to start. Note. You must still start all the engines you want to use via the Controller but now they will pause until an agent is idle. 2. Under the menu Options you will now see an option for ‘Users & Agents. Click on this and the Users screen will open. You must add some agents in here. In the top row add a unique user name and password, enter a unique numeric Agent ID e.g. 1 and then select a campaign for them to work on with the drop down list in the campaign column. Click enter to add the record. 3. Set the correct message structure and make sure you are using the transfer option in response, check Allow Transfer, enter an Extension number and set appropriate time of day. Please note that if you don’t use Transfer then agents will never be sent a call! 4. On the agent computer click on the Agent Activator icon to run it. 5. You will see the agent must login with the user details you set up for them. Always encourage them to log out when they are finished. This screen can be minimised and you can right click on a system tray icon to show the main form again. 6. Once logged in you will see a small form with an “Available” button. When the agent is ready for another call (or just before it) then can click this button. They must not click it more than once too many engines will be started and they will continue even if no agent is ready for a call. 7. Each time the button is clicked an idle agent counter is incremented to start an engine then each time a call is transferred the counter is decreased.
